Leave me a voice note about: How do you maneuver heartbreak? What mends your heart when you lose someone you love?
Gumption in May
What are the healthiest strategies that you’ve developed to go through heartbreak? What do you do to get through that tunnel?
Please leave me a voice note below!
Your voice ins powerful and I want to include it! Please leave me a one minute voice note. Best responses will be ones that are vulnerable and have the power to inspire myself and others.
You can also indicate if you are ok with including this voice note in an upcoming Gumpcast episode on Heart Mending!

As I continue digesting my divorce and gear everything I’ve learned over the past ten years towards a healthy outcome and getting back on my feet again, I noticed an idea that helps a lot.
I realize that this life experience has really opened me up to how people experience heartbreak in general, and how much compassion I have now towards others that go through a divorce or losing a loved one in any way.
You will hear two episodes coming up back to back on the Gumpcast next month, one is with Sherin Wafaai, my ex-wife, about heartbreak itself and how we digested it, and how we maneuver separation. *Gulp* I know it is kinda crazy but we did it and I am both terrified and excited to share this one with you next week! * Gulp *.
The episode I will air right after it will be with Somatics practitioner and author Stacie Haynes, where we discuss her latest book Politics of Trauma, and how we can mend our hearts through working with the body and the Soma.
In between both of those, I will be sending more of the poems in my Ode To Heartbreak poems, which are all available here in case you have missed the first part of the broadcast.
See you next Sunday with the fifth episode of the Gumpcast and the heartbreak episode!
