Omar, thank you for your kind and generous words today. And thank you for meeting me for lunch at Kramer's in DC. I want you to know that I get as much out of our friendship as you do. Your open, questing, and poetic spirit speaks to me. I am honored to be on this journey with you, my friend. I am eager to see what unfolds, unfold. I am here.

Thank you for introducing me to new poets and poetry. I love this poem by Kabir. It makes me think of the magical realism of Gabriel Garcia Marquez in all of his his novels, but especially his best ones: One Hundred Years of Solitude and Life in the Time of Cholera. What a treat you have in store if you haven't yet read these!

And sorry about that parking ticket. Damn!

Thanks for the reminder and yes I read 100 years but haven’t gotten to love in the time of the cholera yet!

Omar, your persistence to keep this going is inspiring. I think showing up is undervalued. The way you try new things with a goal of always learning really resonates with me. Looking forward to what’s next 😀

I will assume that you are a real human being. If so I ask you if you think this has anything to do with my blog or not. If the answer is yes I'd like you to relate this to my content. If not then I'll ask you to either participate consciously or leave my substack. This is neither a political nor a religious blog and your post is both.
