Welcome to all the new gumption seekers that have joined us this week from my LinkedIn posts. I send out an essay/podcast epsiode every Sunday and sometimes I start threads on Wednesdays like this one.
Threads are a way for me to hear about what you have on your mind too and address it in my essays.
This week I am outlining how Inner work relates to our overall health and will share an easy method that I use on a daily basis to get to know myself a little more.
Today I ask you: What does "inner work" mean to you? How do you currently practice it? What methods have worked for you? Why is it important? How have you gone about your emotional health?
Share your journey with us in the comments or reply to this email.
I'm still working in progress, but to me inner work meant, starting therapy, going to bed early, regulating my nervous system by deep breathing, learning to meditate, working on my inner voice, isolating myself a bit from thd outside world and get comfortable being on my own for a while..

Inner work means...
- speaking my needs in a responsible way
- journaling
- being near or in water
- putting my feet in the grass
I try to prioritize inner work because it helps me feel grounded and make sense of all the chaos.
